Easter at CBC

Easter is the celebration of New Life! Through His crucifixion and resurrection, Jesus conquered death and made the way for us to also have New Life — eternal life — if we believe in and follow Him. And isn’t God such a good Father to paint us a picture of this with Easter being in the spring, when all of nature is bursting with new life and blooming in full-color? We can’t think of a better reason or season for celebrating!

Join us in our celebration of New Life in Christ by worshiping with us Easter Weekend! It is the perfect time to bring along a friend or family member, too, as our pastor, Dr. Ed Newton, leads us through “This I Believe.”

Bring your children to celebrate Easter, too! We have a special large group worship time and age-appropriate Bible lesson about Jesus’ death and resurrection planned for them. After that, they will move to small groups to enjoy an activity or craft, discussion about the lesson, and, of course, a snack! This will be a fun way for your kids to learn about God’s love and Jesus’ sacrifice for them.

Volunteer For Easter
Easter is right around the corner and we are looking forward to seeing all of the new faces of family members, friends and neighbors that you will be bringing with you for the celebration. We are also excited that so many of you are interested in serving with us for Easter. If you would like to volunteer, we are filling positions in our CBC Kids area, on Parking Lot teams and our Guest Relations teams. If you are interested, you must be in middle school or older and may click here to register.
