The Walk Overview

"The Walk" is an avenue where all adults can deepen their personal relationship with Christ. Whether you are exploring the faith, are a new believer, or have been in the church for years, there is a starting place for you. Courses are designed for three levels of increasing spiritual maturity.

"Essential Steps" - Exploring or Growing in Christ
Offers topics and experiences that provide a vital foundation for all believers. Courses are more structured and targeted for those exploring or growing in a relationship with Christ. They meet once a week for either six or twelve weeks and provide a safe place to learn, ask questions and make new friends. Self study is generally not required between lessons.

"Next Steps" - Close to Christ
Offers topics and experiences for those individuals who feel close to Christ, depend on him daily for guidance and have a working knowledge of the Bible and other faith fundamentals. Self-study between lessons generally requires 15-30 minutes per day.

"Crowning Steps" - Mature in Christ
Offers topics and experiences that are more unstructured. They are targeted for the individual who is Christ-Centered, feels God is all they need in their lives and has developed disciplines to reflect Christ in all they do. Self-study between sessions is more extensive.

Selected Walk courses are offered three times per year with semesters beginning in January, June and September. Recommended “Starting Point” courses for each level are highlighted.
