Baby Dedication and Children's Baptism

Baby Dedication (Birth - 3 years)

A baby dedication refers to a service in which the parents dedicate their child to the Lord. This service involves both a child dedication and a parent commitment. It is viewed as a confirmation between the parents and the church to raise the child in a godly way until the child is old enough to make his or her own decision in accepting Christ as personal Savior. Prior to the dedication, parents must attend a class that will further highlight the significance of this service. Classes are held on Saturday night from 5:00pm-6:00pm in room C129. Dedications are on Saturdays at 6:30pm in the Main Sanctuary.

Children's Baptisms

Baptism is a great step of obedience in the life of every Christian. We are delighted to walk with your child through this wonderful part of their life! The Bible teaches us that baptism is an act of obedience for believers. Baptism doesn't make you a believer - it shows that you already believe. Baptism does not save you; your faith in Jesus alone is what saves you. When you are baptized, you are publically identifying yourself as a follower of Jesus Christ. It is an outward symbol of your faith and salvation for all to see.

Our Children's Baptisms are held for elementary students in 1st through 5th grade. All children who wish to be baptized are required to attend a baptism class with their parents before they are baptized. The class includes a workbook you will complete together at home. The workbook provides families with a kid-friendly discussion about the meaning of salvation and baptism.

Please note: there will be a $5 curriculum fee charged at the time of registration.
