The Vision
Mission Statement
The mobilization of the body at Community Bible Church to share the love and compassion of Jesus Christ, using the model described in Isaiah 58, Proverbs 31, Matthew 25, and James 1:27.
The Goal
To promote sustainable Christ-centered ministries, both locally and internationally, empowering them to share the gospel message by caring for the hungry, the homeless, the sick, the defenseless, orphans, and widows.
We believe that people would be best served, not by making them more Westernized, but by providing a platform for better understanding of their own customs, traditions, and skills, and enabling them to determine their own culturally appropriate path to development.
The Strategy
We currently use these means as the platform for evangelism:
Humanitarian Aid through:
- Water Well Drilling
- Food Distribution
- Shelter Construction
- Medical Clinics
- Orphanages and Children Shelters
- Education
- Agricultural Assistance
Spiritual Encouragement through:
- Church Planting and Strengthening
- Training and Support of National Workers
- Teaching, Discipleship, and Mentoring
- Children's Programs
- Sports Programs
- Personal Evangelism
- Mission Teams
All of these programs are in partnership with local or indigenous churches, para-churches, and faith-based nonprofit agencies and organizations. They are intentionally designed to facilitate ministry operations without creating a dependency of indefinite support from external forces.
