Marriage Prep Class

CLASS: Marriage Prep Class at CBC = 10 hours (classroom group work)

The Marriage Prep Class provides premarital training using the book titled Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts and DVD teaching by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrot. This classroom format allows you to ask questions and discuss the premarital topics covered in the curriculum.

Summer Semester - Saturday evenings or Sunday mornings:

Saturday evenings beginning July 10
Time: 6:15-7:30pm

Sunday mornings, beginning July 11
Time: 9:15am-10:30am
Meeting Location: Portable 6B

Marriage Prep Weekend: March 25-26, 2011 - Friday evening and Saturday morning

Saturday and Sunday classes meet 9-10 weeks. There is an additional class for remarriages and blended families.

These classes are open for enrollment all semester. Cost is $40.00 per couple which pays for one textbook and two workbooks or $60 with an additional textbook. Purchase these books in the CBC bookstore: Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts or Saving Your Second Marriage Before It Starts.

• Once a couple completes a minimum of eight hours of classes/mentoring time, they are better prepared for the marriage relationship.
• The couple can take their certificate of completion to the court house where the marriage certificate fee of $60 will be waived.
