Premarital Mentoring

MENTORING:  Premarital Mentoring through CBC = 16+ hours of couple-to-couple marriage preparation

Premarital Mentoring provides you the opportunity to counsel with a successfully married couple. Premarital mentors have been married 15 years or longer, have received special premarital training at CBC, and exemplify a Christ-centered marriage. Your mentors will be open and honest about sharing their own marriage experiences. You will work with the same counselors for the full duration of your premarital mentoring. Although they are specifically trained in the area of premarital mentoring, they are not professional, licensed counselors. They have chosen premarital mentoring as their ministry at Community Bible Church.

You will discuss many topics throughout your time together. These topics include:
• Allowing Christ to be at the center of your relationship
• Marital roles and responsibilities
• Skills for communicating and resolving conflicts
• Realistic management of finances
• Sexual relationship
• Your family of origin and much more!
