Jennifer Casto Acevedo
Jennifer has led worship in church, both singing and playing the saxophone, since she was 12 years old. She studied Voice and Saxophone at Ball State University where she majored in Music Education and Public Relations. She has performed with "Indiana's Official Goodwill Ambassadors," The Ball State University Singers, The Ball State Opera Theatre, and many other small ensembles. She has also worked with production companies such as Showbiz International, Cedar Fair Lt, and Opryland Productions/Gaylord Entertainment. Jennifer married her husband, Mike, in 1999. They have three daughters, Lydia, Sophia, and Victoria. They are members of CBC, and Jennifer is a member of the Praise Team. She also serves as part of the Sunday Team with John Valenzuela and Josh Lopez.
Mary Alice Bourgeois
Mary Alice has been in full-time music ministry for over 40 years serving on church staffs, traveling with contemporary musical groups, serving as staff organist for the PTL Club and Campmeeting USA, and since 1997, serving as principal pianist for Community Bible Church and teaching in the CBC School of Fine Arts. She holds an Associate of Divinity in Church Music Ministry with a specialty in piano and organ from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Every available course was taken on the Master's level. Mary Alice uses a complete piano method, including Lesson, Theory, Technique and Artistry, Praise and Worship, and Recital (performance).
Nancy Rhoden
Nancy began studying piano at the age of seven and completed her Bachelor of Music Degree in 1979 from Baylor University in Piano Pedagogy. She has experience teaching keyboard enthusiasts of all levels and ages, both in private and classroom environments. Her dynamic studio is where students will learn the universal language of music and piano concepts with ease and accuracy. She uses a classical approach to playing the piano through the expression of rhythms, melody, notation, technique, and theory.
Connie Lund
Connie has over 30 years experience as a professional piano instructor. She has been an elementary school music teacher as well as a private instructor on both piano and flute, with a special partiality to "worship style" music. Connie and her husband, Jerry, raised their three children in Northern California. They have spent most of their married life as music directors, leading large productions, choirs, and worship teams from all around the United States. A balanced approach of easy-going humor and discipline to push a student beyond what they think they can accomplish has always made Connie a highly sought after piano instructor.
