Jennifer Casto Acevedo

Jennifer has led worship in church, both singing and playing the saxophone, since she was 12 years old. She studied Voice and Saxophone at Ball State University where she majored in Music Education and Public Relations. She has performed with "Indiana's Official Goodwill Ambassadors," The Ball State University Singers, The Ball State Opera Theatre, and many other small ensembles. She has also worked with production companies such as Showbiz International, Cedar Fair Lt, and Opryland Productions/Gaylord Entertainment. Jennifer married her husband, Mike, in 1999. They have three daughters, Lydia, Sophia, and Victoria. They are members of CBC, and Jennifer is a member of the Praise Team. She also serves as part of the Sunday Team with John Valenzuela and Josh Lopez.

Courtney Flagg

Courtney studied voice and violin at Stephen F. Austin State University. She has been a member of the Dallas Arts District Chorale and the Irving Chamber Chorus. She has served as an interim contemporary praise and worship leader here in San Antonio and now actively participates in worship at CBC. Courtney worked in NEISD as a middle school choir director for four years. Her teaching is available to all ages and includes vocal technique and performance skills, competition preparation, singing for enjoyment, and worship music at all levels. Courtney and her husband, Scott, have been married for two years and are proud parents of their baby girl, Hayden.
