The Community Bible Kid's Choir program is available to every child 4 years old (by Sept. 1) through 6th grade. Kids Choir meets Wednesdays from 6-7pm and runs August - April with breaks at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break.

Register online NOW for the Spring semester. You do NOT have to re-register if you were enrolled Fall 2008.

Kids Choirs have ministered at diverse places such as San Juan Courts Housing Projects, North Star Mall, the San Antonio Airport, Methodist Hospital, local retirement and nursing homes, the Arneson River Theatre on the River Walk downtown, and our CBC multi-sites.

Music lessons are age-appropriate, themed, and based on Biblical concepts and scriptures. This high-energy program incorporates drama, choreography, vocal technique and music theory, yet focuses on teaching kids to be lifelong worshippers. Our teachers are all born-again worshippers who lead lives that are devoted to pursuing God. Hip-Hop is offered for all 5th and 6th graders on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. Opportunities for lyrical, other dance forms, and drama are available with a full-scale musical being presented once every year or two years at the elementary level.

    The Kids Choir Program's Goals Are To:
  • Strengthen kids' relationship with Jesus
  • Teach kids about worship
  • Give elementary-age kids opportunities to share Jesus inside and outside CBC
  • Establish a foundation of music appreciation, performance, and theory
  • Have fun singing, dancing, and learning about God through music

Kids Choir Staff:

Amanda Singer - Pastor of Vocal Music; Supervises vocal music for children, youth, and adults and directs the 3rd through 6th grade choirs.
