Volunteer Opportunities in Next+Gen:Preschool
Teacher
Provides leadership and guides class activities to help preschoolers apply truths from the lesson. Time commitment: 1 hour, every week or twice a month.
Assistant
Assists teacher with classroom activities and connects relationally with children in small groups. Time commitment: 1 hour, every week or twice a month.
Mentor
Responsible for investing relationally in a volunteer team (15-20 teachers and assistants). Time commitment: 1 hour, every week.
Greeter
Welcomes children and their families by assisting with check-in, attendance and security procedures. Time commitment: 1 hr, every week or twice a month.,
Host Team
Welcomes new families and escorts them through the registration process and to the appropriate rooms. Time commitment: 1 hour, every week or twice a month.
Storyteller
Communicates the Bible story creatively during large group teaching time. Time commitment: 1 hour, every week or twice a month.
Worship Leader
Leads preschoolers in worship during large group time. Time commitment: 1 hour, every week or twice a month. Auditions and additional training are required.
Production Team
Runs sound, computer graphics, and audio cues during large group music and teaching time. Time commitment: 1 hour, every week or twice a month. Additional training required.
