Adult Sports

CBC Chosen Walking and Running Team
A team of friends who are training to walk or run The Chosen 1/2 Marathon.

Our purpose is to raise money for these families is to adopt children.  Every registration for the Chosen Marathon will go directly to the families, as long as you select one of the “participating teams listed” as your team when you register for the Chosen Marathon for Adoption.  If you would like to train with our group to walk, interval walk/run or run, we would love for you to join!  There is a group for every one including beginners who have never walked a 5k all the way up to experienced runners.  We meet every Saturday morning as a team to train.

Fitness for Christ (Co-Ed)
A high intensity cardio and resistance circuit training program that will increase your endurance, strength, stamina and power with the use of various equipment, such as, kettle bells, battle ropes, dumb bells and our own body weight. We will also include plyometric work, sprints and agility drills. All you need to bring is focus and motivation! Be prepared to sweat and challenge your bodies to reach the next level of fitness! Offered Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings or Thursday and Saturday mornings.

Mommy and Me Running Group
Mommy and Me Running Group is designed for mothers to run WITH their children (either theirs or ones they mentor). Running is a spiritual journey that takes discipline, time, and endurance. Our group takes the passion and training of running and allows us to share it with our children while putting God at the center. We welcome runners of all skill levels. Wear weather appropriate clothing, good running shoes, and jogging strollers are welcomed.

We Meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at a location off campus for Bible Study/Devotion and Run!

Pil-Yo with Prayer
This is an open level Yoga/Pilates based class that will also encompass Yoga, strength training, and the practice of remaining in the present moment. Whether the experienced practitioner, or new to working out, this class is for you! Please bring a mat, and all strength training will utilize your own body weight. There is special attention to calming the mind and the benefits of remaining in the present moment will be taught. We end the class with Scripture and Shavasana.

Pil-Yo meets on the Gold Canyon Campus in E222 every Thursday from 11:05am-12pm.

The Triathlon Club at CBC is a multi-sport Club that is listed with USAT and is open to everyone. You need not be a member of the Church to train and race with the Club. We have two common interests that bind us together in the Club: faith in Jesus Christ and the love of multi-sport activities.

Women’s Running Group
We are a group of fun, faith-filled ladies who love to seek the Lord in all we do, including exercising. We will be meeting Wednesday morning in the parking lot of the Worship Center. We will have a common course, run the first lap together and then fall into natural pace groups. We will have a memory verse each week and a short devotional. Come join us! A Latin dance exercise class for ages 18+. Fitness to restore and energize our spirit and hearts. The generous will prosper: those who re-FRESH others will themselves be re-FRESHED. Classes are offered in the am and pm throughout the weekday (Monday-Thursday)

Alamo City Harley (Bible study)
Every Wednesday at Cowboy’s Alamo Harley-Davidson. We will gather around 9:30 and start at 10 and end around 11. We will have coffee and tea available at no charge. This will be a morning study that we will hold weekly. Thanks and I hope to see you here.

If you have a love for cars, old or new, fast or slow, this is the club for you. This is your chance to go cruisin’ and enjoy the ingenuity God has given us with other car enthusiasts.

Fellowship Riders
Come join us for a motorcycle ride and fellowship in the name of Jesus! The only requirements are that you have a motorcycle, a motorcycle license, and motorcycle insurance. Because of insurance requirements we cannot offer rides on the motorcycles to guests.

This is a place to meet for great fellowship and to share the enthusiasm in remote control flying! This group meets most Saturdays from 10am-1pm at the CBC Gym. Ages 12yrs+ are welcome.

This is an 11 vs 11 league. We will provide jerseys. You will need cleats, shin guards, socks and shorts. We play in a competitive Division 2 league and welcome all skill levels. This ten-game season is played on Sundays form 1pm-5pm. For more details and to register click here.
