Are you seeking a way to serve your city this Thanksgiving and Christmas season? Look no further! Take a look at all the ways CBC is partnering with ministries to share some holiday cheer in the name of Jesus.
Now – December 14
Donate Christmas gift for any age child, ages 0-18 years, boy or girl, and you’ll contribute to SA Heals’ “Affordable Christmas” program which empowers parents to provide gifts for their children on Christmas morning! SA Heals is dedicated to the kids and families on the eastside of San Antonio. Their founders have a vision to see God restore and redeem the neighborhood they are called to serve and live in. Help SA Heals reach their goal of 1500 gifts – check out their Amazon Wish List to send gifts directly, here: Affordable Christmas Wishlist. Learn more at saheals.com.
Now – December 14
Provide a Christmas gift for a child whose parent(s) are incarcerated and unable to spend this time together. This year, we’re focusing our efforts on providing Wal-mart gift cards to the children in the Valley who do not have enough local churches to support their community. Click here to send a gift card or gift directly to the Rio Grande Valley Baptist Association-Angel Tree Ministry on behalf of your family. Or simply search “CBC Angel Tree” on the walmart.com registry page. Learn more about Angel Tree Christmas with Prison Fellowship at prisonfellowship.org/angeltree.
CAM hosts a Christmas store in our warehouse for families who have missed out on signing up for other programs. Parents get to shop for gifts and volunteer get to set up a fun Christmas store, donate toys, or help families shop! To donate to CAM’s Christmas Store, please visit their Amazon Wishlist for a gift to be shipped directly to CAM’s downtown location! To help with set-up and shopping at the CAM Christmas Store, please click here.
At SAMMinistries, our goal is to break the cycle of homelessness for families. By sponsoring a child this Christmas, parents can focus on becoming self-sufficient through education, job training and debt reduction, because they know that their children will have gifts to open on Christmas morning. Help us make Christmas a season of joy and renewal by providing gifts for approximately 600 children. Visit samm.org/give/holidaywishes2019 to sponsor.
Deliver hope to children in need this Christmas by wrapping toys for children all over the world. All ages welcome! Neat and clean wrapping not required! Schedule yours today at chfus.org/sanantonio.

Anyone who has made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior is eligible to be baptized. Baptism is an act of obedience to Christ. Baptism does not give you salvation, but it is one way to publicly tell others about your salvation, because it identifies you with Jesus.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” Romans 1:16
CBC holds baptisms in services for adults and teens monthly. Baptisms are available at all services. Sign up for the next baptism below.

Baby dedication is a public commitment made before God, the church, and family. A dedication service provides parents, who are seeking to follow God’s design for the family, as outlined in the Bible, an opportunity to express publicly their desire to lead and spiritually nurture their child so that the child will develop a desire to love God and love others.
We believe that every baby dedication is a partnership between parents and the church. Together, we commit to raising each child according to God’s Word so that they would one day accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and follow Him all the days of their life.
To have your baby dedicated at CBC we ask the following of parent(s):
We will gladly have conversations with you on any of the above requests.
Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. This February 7, 2020, Night to Shine celebrates its sixth anniversary and CBC’s third anniversary of hosting Night to Shine! ONE WKND is an incredible “summer camp style” weekend experience for students 6-12 grades. ONE WKND will challenge students at all points in their spiritual journey to pursue JESUS and the freedom HE offers. This year we have an amazing line up of on-stage worship teams, speakers, and a Christian DJ.
Students will be grouped together by grade and gender and will stay at CBC host homes where they will build community with peers and engage in small group discussions. In addition, they will participate in 4 sessions at CBC on Friday and Saturday, culminating with a worship celebration with the rest of our CBC family. This will take place at the 5:00 p.m. Saturday service for Middle School, and the 8:30 a.m. Sunday service for High School.
This weekend allows students to connect with friends and invest in their relationship with Jesus all without having to leave town. We want to see every teenager possible to attend this event. We believe it can be a launching point to seeing our city impacted for the kingdom and to see our CBC STUDENT family grow!
