Merge Weekend

Merge Weekend @ CBC Education Bldg 3rd Floor

Engaged or Seriously Dating? Join us for a fast-paced, lively and challenging weekend in Merge, CBC’s premier premarital preparation. Merge is designed to give engaged and seriously dating couples an opportunity to learn, seek wisdom, and receive counsel about marriage in a fun, thought-provoking and authentic environment.

We will address common marriage topics from a Biblical perspective. Large group teaching, small group discussion, and interactive learning provide a comprehensive experience for couples of all ages.

Merge weekend is a great opportunity for couples who either live out of town, travel for work, or have other related conflicts. If you are ready to take an honest look at your relationship in the light of God’s plan for marriage, join us on Saturday, Feb 22 (8:30am – 4:30pm) & Sunday, Feb 23 (noon-4pm) with attendance required both days to complete the course. $35 Per couple includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday, snacks & water throughout the weekend. Feb 28 @ 6:30 pm

ONE WKND is an incredible “summer camp style” weekend experience for students 6-12 grades. ONE WKND will challenge students at all points in their spiritual journey to pursue JESUS and the freedom HE offers. This year we have an amazing line up of on-stage worship teams, speakers, and a Christian DJ.

Students will be grouped together by grade and gender and will stay at CBC host homes where they will build community with peers and engage in small group discussions. In addition, they will participate in 4 sessions at CBC on Friday and Saturday, culminating with a worship celebration with the rest of our CBC family. This will take place at the 5:00 p.m. Saturday service for Middle School, and the 8:30 a.m. Sunday service for High School.

This weekend allows students to connect with friends and invest in their relationship with Jesus all without having to leave town. We want to see every teenager possible to attend this event. We believe it can be a launching point to seeing our city impacted for the kingdom and to see our CBC STUDENT family grow!

Baptism @ Community Bible Church

Anyone who has made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior is eligible to be baptized. Baptism is an act of obedience to Christ. Baptism does not give you salvation, but it is one way to publicly tell others about your salvation, because it identifies you with Jesus.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” Romans 1:16

CBC holds baptisms in services for adults and teens monthly. Baptisms are available at all services. Sign up for the next baptism below.
