HIGH SCHOOL BEACH CAMP 2019
Monday, June 24, 2019 – Friday, June 28, 2019
There are the following payment possibilities determined by the date of registration:
At any date you are able to pay in full the camp payment. The total cost will be determined by the date of registration.
Registered before January 1, 2019: $425 total payment $75 Deposit, $75 monthly payments automatically deducted by CBC on the 15th of each month until camp is paid in full or final full payment will be deducted on May 15, 2019.
Registered between January 1, 2019 and March 15, 2019: $425 total payment $100 Deposit, $100 monthly payments automatically deducted by CBC on the 15th of each month until camp is paid in full or final full payment will be deducted on May 15, 2019.
Registered between March 15, 2019 and May 15, 2019: $450 total payment $225 which is half of the total cost, will be the deposit and then the final payment will be due May 15, 2019.
Registration after May 15, 2019: $450.00 will be due at the time of registration.
Who can attend High School Beach Camp?
All 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. Grade is determined by 2018-2019 school year.
Do I need to bring extra spending money?
Yes, you do need to bring extra money. Students are responsible for their own money. Each student will need money to buy their own lunches on the way to camp and back home. We recommend $20 for those meals and another $20 for any extra purchases they might want while at camp.
Can I pick up my student early or drop off in South Padre after buses arrive?
Yes, please email the following accommodations, including who will be bringing the camper or picking up the camper and the date and approximate time of pick up or drop off to: Ashley Machen @ email@example.com.
What if I want to room with my friend?
We do our best to accommodate roommate requests – please enter this information in the designated area on registration.
What meals are provided?
Monday dinner through Friday breakfast.
Is there a gluten free option?
Yes, gluten free options are available at each meal. Please note this under allergies on your registration form.
What if I have to cancel my child’s registration?
Please refer to the cancellation policy for dates and refunds in your confirmation email.
Is my child allowed to bring their electronic devices?
Yes. If their device seems to become an issue, their counselor or a staff member has the ability to take it up at anytime.
Is there a nurse at camp?
Can I send my child mail?
No, you can not send mail to camp. We recommend that you pack any notes or messages you want to send your student in their luggage. Please label all mail with your child’s name and counselor.
Are financial scholarships available?
As we would love to help everyone who may need financial assistance, please understand that our funds are limited. We are not able to provide full scholarships for any applicants nor will all applications receive financial assistance. Applicants must be a member AND actively involved in Community Bible Church. If you would like to submit an application, please fill out the Camp Scholarship Form.
Volunteers that are 18 years old or older on June 1, 2019.
All Camp volunteers are required by the State of Texas to take the following Child Abuse Prevention Test. Please download and read the curriculum and then complete the online test using the link below.
