Young Adults

Are you in your 20s or 30s? Maybe you are a college student in a new city…or single and working…or newly married…or maybe you have a couple of kids…whatever your “status,” we know being connected with people with common interests is important to you. Friends are your second family, and we are here to be family to you, too!

Common Ground

If you are looking to experience passionate worship and relevant teaching with people in your same stage of life, you will love Common Ground! For Young Adults from 18 to 30-something, single or married, with or without kids, it is a great place to connect with others, as well as enjoy various speakers and styles of worship. Another cool thing about Common Ground is that it takes community a step further than a traditional church service by including discussion group time after the corporate worship and teaching. And the small discussion groups are affinity-based with people of similar age and marital status being in the same group — perfect for making new friends to live life with!

We’d love to meet you! Come check us out in CBC Central at 7pm on Thursdays. Childcare is available, too — just click below to register your child(ren).

Common Ground will only be meeting July 14th and August 18th during the summer break and will resume meeting weekly on September 8th.

Kids Club Childcare

Here at CBC, there are groups of all kinds where Young Adults can connect with each other to study the Bible, hang out and live life together. Our various groups meet on different days and at different times and study a variety of topics. You are sure to find one that fits your schedule, your interests and your needs.

The best way to find out about curriculum and meeting times is to contact the group leader directly. Click below for a list of our groups and how to contact the leader.

We are excited to study God’s Word with you!

Serving is what being a follower of Christ is all about. Just like Jesus, who came not to be served, but to serve, we consider it an incredible opportunity to minister to others. If serving with Young Adults is your “sweet spot,” then we have a number of ways you can help. Most of our needs are on Thursday nights during Common Ground, the Young Adult worship service, but there are other times you can volunteer, too.
