CELEBRATE LIFE CHANGE

"... While I was in prison, you visited me."  Matthew 25:36

CBC Community Group

FOR FAMILY MEMBERS

"My Loved One is in Jail" is a community of believers established by Community Bible Church in 2013 by a group of individuals all experiencing the emotions of a family member or loved one who was incarcerated. "MLO" meets on campus every second and fourth Thursday. If you have a family member or loved one incarcerated, and are seeking a community of support and understanding, we hope you'll join us!

WORTHY PEOPLE

Worthy People wholistically approaches prison ministry by fostering connections and discipling inmates during incarceration, facilitating re-entry into society, and offering ongoing support post-release with various groups, programs, and an engaging podcast.

WE THE KINGDOM

We the Kingdom is a CBC-birthed organization that goes inside the Texas Department Criminal Justice prisons (TDCJ) to encourage and provide real hope of Jesus to the men and women on the inside.

Founders, Patricia and Joseph Chavarria and CBC member Veronica Elizondo, teach weekly Bible studies, provide mentorship and visit regularly with the individuals they disciple. We've had the privilege of baptizing men both inside prisons and at CBC during baptism celebration weekends and witnessed men, women and their families coming to know Christ!

KAIROS

Kairos is a Greek word meaning "in God's Special Time or in the Fullness of Time." Kairos weekend retreats provide the opportunity for incarcerated individuals to experience intentional discipleship through focused teachings, hot and home-cooked meals, words of encouragement, and a listening ear. Men and women leave impacted and transformed by the love of Jesus Christ.

EMPOWERING WOMEN OUT OF PRISON

EWOP's innovative program is designed to grow leaders, create personal connections through mentorships, and teach entrepreneurship by transforming the lives of women in prison so when they leave, they are prepared both for a job search and an alternate path to success ... self-employment.
