Mentorship is when a younger (18-25 yr old) person is connected with a more spiritually mature person to learn more about their faith and to grow in their relationship with Christ. The Mentor will share spiritual disciplines with the mentees and dig into scripture together. The Mentor serves as a guidance and prayer for the mentee as they develop a closer relationship with Christ. Monthly meetings will happen in public places, like CBC coffee shop or Emmitt park and 2-3 mentees will meet with 1 mentor. The time and place will be determined by the mentor and the mentees.
Mentors and Mentees are expected to have weekly phone calls and in person meetings at least once a month for a semester. If this is not something you can commit to right now we encourage you to join a Community Group or Upper Ground after Common Ground.
Check yes if you are ready to commit to a weekly phone call and monthly meeting.
